ESMIRNA CHURCH PERU

The Esmirna Churches currently consist of 150 different churches throughout the nation of Peru and are led by Lead Pastor David Gomez and co-pastor, Pepe Selem. The main churches are found in the capital city of Lima and in the northern city of Tarapoto, while a majority of the churches can be found in the jungle regions. There are also four key churches on the coast which strategically help strengthen and support the other churches.

ESMIRNA LIMA SUR CHURCH

This church was strategically planted in Lima, the capital city of Peru, to help give leadership to the more than 150 churches throughout the country. The Esmirna Churches have a great passion to see more Christ-centered, Biblically faithful churches multiplied throughout the country. Planting churches have also been a core aspect of the vision of Esmirna, recently establishing 18 new churches during the time of the pandemic as they took the love and peace of Jesus to those being devastated with loss and fear. The Lima church is led by Pastor Pepe Selem and his wife Joisy Selem. Joisy is a powerful minister of the gospel who helps to oversee the women's ministries not only in Lima, but throughout the country. The church also receives leadership from Pepe Selem Jr. and his wife Claudia Selem who have a new daughter named Anthonella Paz. Pepe Jr. is the co-pastor of the Lima church and also oversees  their powerful sports ministry named HTF (Honoring The Father). HTF has become an international ministry that has a great reputation in Peru and has produced great champions not only on the field, but off the field as powerful followers and disciples of Jesus.  Pepe Jr. also supports the church through his work with adults, youth, and children.

Lead Pastor Pepe Selem, also leads a ministry of Christian artists (ACU) that has a weekly online service that reaches approximately 11,000 people per service. Lastly, Jessica Selem, their daughter, oversee the mission's efforts of the church and is an ambassador for Central and South America for an international ministry called First Priority Global Ministries. As a ministerial family they seek to visit at least 2 to 3 Esmirna churches every month, bringing clothes, food, medicine, laptops, projectors, and important ministry tools to expand the gospel to their region and beyond. So far they have equipped over 40 churches with these tools.
